"Michael is 7 1/2 now, but when the school speech teacher sat in on a class of prospective kindergarten students a few yrs back, she didn't even realize Michael was hearing impaired. He spoke as well if not clearer than his fellow students. Now he is in a mainstream second grade and he is reading, writing, participating in class discussions all very successfully. He also plays basketball and the piano. If it weren't for the Beebe Center, mainstreaming would not have been an option. We owe everything to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the therapists at the Helen Beebe Speech and Hearing Center."
Nancy, mother of Michael.
